In February 2024, we stepped into our next chapter with a refreshed name: The Nines by Linnie Lou. What hasn’t changed is our heart: helping women feel amazing in every moment that matters.

From Steamer to Storefront: Meet Linnie Lou

Hi, I’m Linda—but around here, I go by Linnie.

I moved to Lincoln in 2020 for a fresh start. After years in ministry, my path was unexpectedly paused. I took a part-time job steaming and tagging clothes, just to stay busy. But that little side job turned out to be something much more.

I found community. I found purpose. I found myself again.

Soon, I was helping on the floor… then managing the store… and eventually, becoming the proud owner.

Why “Linnie Lou”?

The nickname Linnie Lou is one of the most personal parts of my story. It’s what my dad lovingly called me growing up—a name that stuck through college and into adulthood. When it came time to give The Nines a new chapter, honoring that name felt like the perfect way to reflect not only where I’ve been, but where we’re going.

The Nines by Linnie Lou isn’t just a boutique—it’s a celebration of real women, real stories, and the power of showing up in style.
